We had bad foot problems in our pregnant ewes and older bigger rams last year. We had the vet check the sheep’s feet and they found it was foot abscess. This lambing is shaping up to be a bad foot season lambing as well. We are going to attempt to footbath our girls every week leading up to lambing, using Zinc Sulphate 10%. Do you think this is over the top? I know we will have to be careful of pregnancy toxemia, so we are scanning all the ewes to find out the twinners in the mob.
